Itinerary

Day 1

  • Meet our representative on arrival at Dimapur and get transferred to Kohima. After reaching there, check-in at the hotel and relax for the rest of the day.
 
 

Day 2

  • After having breakfast at the hotel, drive to Kisama, Hornbill Festival is celebrated with great fanfare. Enjoy cultural and traditional shows from different states of North East India. Also, visit the War Museum, Flower Show and Souvenir Shops. In the evening come back to the hotel in Kohima and enjoy relaxing overnight stay.
 
 

Day 3

  • Post breakfast drive to Kisama, the Hornbill Festival area. Enjoy your last day of festival while exploring various tribal huts (artificial), eating local food, photo shot, buying souvenir etc. Later, go for an excursion to Khonoma village in the afternoon. Khonoma village is the last village where Nagas fought their battle against the Britishers in 1879. It is also famous for its Khonoma Nature Conservation and Tragopan Sanctuary. You can also explore its beautiful terraces which grow over 40 types of paddy at different elevations. After spending a fun-filled day, drive back to hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
 
 

Day 4

  • Guwahati Enjoy leisurely breakfast and drive to Kaziranga. On arrival in Kaziranga, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. One can also enjoy some sightseeing while visiting the famous tea gardens and Kakochang Waterfalls. Sprawling over an area of 850 kms across Golaghat, Nagaon and Sonitpur districts, Kaziranga National Park is best known for housing the rare one-horned rhino. Note: Kaziranga National Park is closed from 1st May till 31st Oct every year.
 
 

Day 5

  • Go for an early morning elephant safari to visit central range of the Kaziranga National Park. Return to your hotel for breakfast and spend some time at leisure. After lunch (on direct payment basis), go for enjoyable Jeep safari inside the park. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
 
 

Day 6

  • Guwahati After breakfast drive to Guwahati and straight transfer to Guwahati airport for flight back to your home.
