Itinerary

Day 1

  • On your arrival at the airport, meet our representative and get assistance in driving to Gangtok. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and spend overnight.
 
 

Day 2

  • After breakfast, start your excursion to Tshangu Lake. After that, proceed to the legendary Baba Mandir. Return back to hotel in the evening and stay overnight post dinner. Tshangu Lake: situated at an elevation of 12400 Feet, the lake has an average depth of 50 feet. The cool water of the lake is completely used to of the scenic beauty around. Baba Mandir: Located at an altitude of over 13,000 feet, the temple was built in memory of a soldier in the 23rd Punjab Regiment, who drowned in a stream near the spot. It is said that he appeared in a dream of one of his colleagues and asked to build this in his memory.
 
 

Day 3

  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Lachung. On the way, visit Tashi View Point, Kabi Longtsok, Seven sister’s Waterfall, and Singhik Viewpoint. Stop for having lunch on direct payment basis. Arrive in evening at Lachung and check-in to the hotel. Overnight stay will remain at the hotel. Tashi View Point: It is located in Tashi at a distance of 8 km away from the Gangtok town. It enjoys the sweeping views of the Kanchenjunga snow peaks and ensures unforgettable scenic views. Kabi Longstok: It is a historical place where the friendship treaty was signed between the Lepcha chief Tekung Tek and the Bhutia chief Khey Bum Sar. It features a stone pillar, which was built to mark the location of the place where this treaty was signed. Seven Sisters Falls: It is the longest waterfall in India. The waterfall has seven separate streams of water dropping into the valley.
 
 

Day 4

  • After having breakfast, proceed for a half-day excursion to Yumthang Valley. On the way, you will visit the Hot Spring and Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary. After lunch, transfer to Gangtok. On the way, see Bhim Nala Waterfall & Twin Waterfall. Arrive at Gangtok in the evening and check into the hotel. Overnight stay will remain at the hotel.
 
 

Day 5

  • After having breakfast, proceed for a half-day sightseeing of places like Do-Drul Chorten, Research Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Closed on Sunday),and Flower Exhibition Center. In the afternoon, take a transfer to Darjeeling (7380 feet). On arrival at Darjeeling, check into your hotel for overnight stay. Flower Exhibition Center: It is a wonderful place to explore great variety of flowers. Namgyal Institute of Tibetology: It is a Tibet museum in Gangtok, which was founded by the 14th Dalai Lama on the 10th of February 1957. Dro-drul Chorten is a stupa in Gangtok, which was constructed by Trulshik Rinpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism in 1945.
 
 

Day 6

  • Early morning, visit Tiger Hill and see the sunrise over Mount Everest. On your returning, visit at the Ghoom Monastery, the holiest monastery in Darjeeling and Batasia Loop. Return hotel for breakfast and then proceed to visit Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoogical Park (Closed on Thursday). Afterwards, pay a visit to the Tibetan refugee help centre. Next stopover is Happy Valley Tea Estate. In the evening, return to your hotel and relax overnight. Tiger Hill: Tiger Hill is one of best tourist attractions in Darjeeling and the highest hill in the region. This is the point from where you can enjoy gorgeous views of surroundings. Ghoom Monastery: It is the popular name of Yiga Choeling Monastery, which is located at Ghum at an elevation of 8,000 feet, 8 km away from Darjeeling. Happy Valley Estate: It is a tea garden in Darjeeling, which was established in 1854. The oldest tea estate in Darjeeling is spread over an area of 437 acres. The estate is positioned at a height of 6,800 feet. Japanese Peace Pagoda: One of the major tourist attractions of Darjeeling, it has been founded to enlighten people from various backgrounds coming together and working for world peace. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park: It is known for featuring numerous rare animals, like Snow Leopard and Red Panda. The zoo serves as home to innumerable species of endangered animals and birds.
 
 

Day 7

  • After having breakfast, you will be transferred to Bagdogra Airport to board your flight for onward destination.
