Itinerary

Day 1

  • Mahabalipuram Meet our representative on arrival at Chennai and get transferred to Mahabalipuram. On your way, visit Kanchipuram there; you will get to visit the famous Sri Kamakshi Amman temple, Sri Ekambareshwar temple and Sri Kailasanadar temple. On arrival at Mahabalipuram, check into your hotel. Freshen up and proceed for sightseeing tour. The tour will include visit to the shore temple, Arjuna’s Penance, Krishna’s Butterball, Five Rathas etc. Come back to the hotel and relax overnight.
 
 

Day 2

  • Pondicherry After an early breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Pondicherry via Tiruvannamalai. Pay visit to the Arunachaleshwar temple, one of the jyothi lingam (the fire incarnation of God). Post darshan, depart for Pondicherry. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax for a while. In the evening, visit Promenade beach and spend some quite time there. Come back to the hotel and enjoy overnight stay.
 
 

Day 3

  • Enjoy breakfast and proceed for a full day city tour of Pondicherry. The tour will include visit to the Auroville City, the famous Aurobindo Ashram, Vinayaka temple. Later, go for boating in the Chunnambar backwaters and relax on the beautiful beaches of Pondicherry. Return to the hotel and enjoy overnight stay.
 
 

Day 4

  • Post breakfast, check-out and carry on to Tanjore via Chidambaram while paying visit to the famous Natraja temple. After darshan, depart for Tanjore. On arrival, check into the hotel. Freshen up and depart for short city tour including visit to Sri Brihadeeswarar temple and the Tanjore palace. Come back to the hotel and relax overnight.
 
 

Day 5

  • After taking breakfast, check-out of the hotel and proceed to Trichy. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax. Later, visit the Ranganathaswami temple, the Rock Fort temple (at the top of the hill). Return back to the hotel in the evening to enjoy overnight stay.
 
 

Day 6

  • Post breakfast, leave for the temple city of India – Madurai. After reaching here, check-in to the hotel. Later, visit Meenakshi temple, which is one of the biggest temple complexes in India. Enjoy delicious lunch (on direct payment basis). Return to the hotel and relax overnight.
 
 

Day 7

  • Enjoy early morning breakfast, check-out and go for an excursion tour to Rameshwaram. Here, you will get to visit many significant Hindu temples. After darshan, visit the Ghanthamathana Parvatham, which provides a fine view of the island and visit Dhanushkodi. Later, drive to Madurai to enjoy comfortable night stay.
 
 

Day 8
