Hemis National Park is a high altitude national park, which is home to the exotic Snow Leopards and some rare birds. In winters, these wild cats and other animals come down from their hideout and can therefore be spotted on this trek. This trek is a combination of many experiences in one. We get to explore Leh with snow-covered mountains in the background, life and challenges of village people in winters, the Buddhist culture while visiting the monasteries along with spotting Snow Leopard Trek Rumbak Ladakh, the blue sheep, Ibex and many more.

3 Hours Before Flight Time
and in Leh and check into Hotel or a Homestay. Today is to take rest and let your body acclimatize to the altitude as well as the weather,
On day 2, we can for a short sight seeing tour towards Thiksey Monastery, Shey Monastery or alternatively to Spituk Monastery, GurudwaraPatharSahab and Hall of Fame.
Post breakfast, we will drive to Zingchen from Leh. Take a quick break at Zingchen and get ready to trek to Rumbak. Through gradual ascends, we will make our way up to Rumbak.
While trekking to Rumbak, we will also continue to look for the Snow Leopard. Our guides will help you understand the signs.
The route today is the one that is famous for the Snow Leopard spotting. Post breakfast, we will head out towards Stok La. We will have to be on alert today as there is a high possibility of Snow Leopard spotting.
Once at the Stok La, we will enjoy the magnificent views of the mountain ranges and take a break here.
We will then return to Rumbak.
Both the days are kept for explorations. We will continue our spotting. Our guides will follow some common trails known for Snow Leopard spotting. We will also be exploring other valleys that are known for spotting of a snow leopard like Tarbung Valley, Husing Valley and Kharlung Valley.
We will also be spending time experiencing the winter life of local ladakhi village people in these two days.
Today, we will retrace our steps to Zingchen. Post breakfast, we will start at ease making our way back to Zingchen. We will be back in Leh by evening and check into our Hotels or Homestays.
